Copy the timetable block from your school’s portal and paste it into Coursva. It works out the course codes, rooms, days, and times, and which weeks each class actually runs. You can correct anything it gets wrong before it saves.

You can also import from a spreadsheet, or add courses by hand if your schedule is unusual.

Paste the evaluation section of your course outline. Coursva picks out the assignments, their weights, and any dates it can find, and adds them to the course. Repeating work — weekly problem sets, lab reports — becomes a single recurring entry rather than eight separate ones.

Open a course and look at its grade outlook. Coursva takes the grades you already have, the weight of everything still outstanding, and works backwards from the final grade you’re aiming for. It recalculates every time a new grade is entered.

This needs the weights to be right, so it’s worth checking them after an import.

Yes, if you turn on iCloud sync in Settings. It uses your own Apple account, so all your devices signed in to the same Apple ID stay in step. There is no account to create and nothing to pay for.

Sync is off by default — the app works entirely offline if you’d rather keep it on one device.

No. Deleted courses, terms, assignments, and grades go to the trash first. Restoring a course brings back everything that belonged to it — its assignments, grades, meetings, and notes — not just the course itself.

Yes, several ways: a full backup file you can restore from, spreadsheet export, and printable term summaries. Your past terms also stay in the academic archive, so your record survives a program change.

Yes — Coursva is fully translated into French, using Quebec vocabulary (session, plan de cours, travail, local). It follows your device language automatically.

A focus session grows a tree for as long as you stay with it. Ending the session early leaves the tree withered in your forest rather than deleting it. That’s deliberate — an honest record is more useful than a streak that resets.

Completely. Everything is stored on your device, so the app is fully usable offline. Sync, if you’ve enabled it, catches up when you’re back online.
